Welcome Class of 2028!

School Uniforms

HCPA proudly works with the Risse Brothers to provide our families with student uniforms.

Gently used uniforms are available for purchase at a reduced cost in our school store on campus. We will be reaching out later this summer regarding our school stores summer hours in August.

Summer Education

The Summer Education Sessions offered at Holy Cross Preparatory Academy are a great opportunity for rising 9th graders to meet members of their class, faculty, and staff, and get familiar with campus!

Two courses are specifically designed for rising 9th graders - Summer Algebra Immersion and Introduction to Robotics.

Summer Reading Assignments

Introduction to Literature / Honors Introduction to Literature

Lord of the Flies by William Golding (ISBN 978-0399501487)

When you return to school in August, you will be expected to be able to share your thoughts about the writer’s (William Golding) style and use of thematic ideas. In order to help prepare for class discussions about the novel, Lord of the Flies, please maintain a reading “journal.” To assist with reflections take note of character descriptions and key scenes listed in chronological order.

College Prep Algebra I / Honors Algebra I

College Prep Geometry / Honors Geometry

If you are unsure of which course you have been placed in for the 24-25 academic year, please feel free to reach out to Ms. Jaquelyn Yiatrou.

2024-25 Academic Calendar

Please note that the calendar may be subject to change. Please subscribe to the HCPA Activities Calendar for up to date events happening on campus.

August 27th: The first day of freshman/transfer orientation is what we like to call the Lancer Preview.

Over the course of the day your child will walk through their schedule, visit classrooms, and begin to get acquainted with some of the exciting activities/clubs available at HCPA.

We will provide lunch at the class BBQ in our courtyard, and students will be dismissed shortly after noon (detailed schedule will be shared closer to the first day).
