Campus Beautification Project Fall 2023 A.jpg

HCPA Campus Beautification Project

The PTO will manage seasonal projects throughout the year to make our grounds look great! Please consider supporting beautification for all four seasons around the school campus.

We are kicking off with fall - for Homecoming and to prepare for Open House! We ask each family to donate $15 (or more) to assist with this project. Please select the link for your donation. Students can help with community service hours for each season.

If you have any questions, please contact Kristi.DePietro@comcast.net.

FAQs About PTO Membership

What are the objectives of the General Membership Campaign?

  • To involve as many families as possible. The PTO knows many are interested in making a difference and being part of the work we do. This includes participating in meetings, deciding on upcoming projects, and suggesting specific fundraising goals.

  • To create a family directory of contact information that is shared with members. Each member-family will be asked to volunteer contact information that they wish to be included.  Participation is completely optional. This will serve as a valuable resource to all as we work together. We aim to publish this directory in late November.

  • To raise funds in support of these goals. A dues payment of $25 per family is requested. We have already had many families join. If each family were to participate, we could raise as much as $6000 in immediate capital.

Why should our family join?

  • For the first time in the history of HCPA, parents now have a chance to provide direct support for school-wide student activities, not just individual sports or clubs.

  • One of the principal missions of the PTO is to create a strong parent culture. Even in its few short months of operation, our efforts have already connected families who would not have had the chance to meet otherwise.

  • To sustain the new legacy of HCPA. We want to make HCPA stand out as a destination institution among private school choices in the region. Our work so far has created an impact, and we are just getting started. From the planting of mums throughout campus to the social events, there is a groundswell of support to improve the overall experience at HCPA. There is great interest and momentum for this work.  At every meeting, new ideas and concepts are suggested, and the willingness to work for them is high.  We want each family to be connected to this.

  • Dues-paying members are eligible to run for board positions and participate in voting.

  • Discounted or free admission to PTO Social Events

Are there obligations once we join?

  • There are no required commitments.

  • Volunteers and/or donations will be needed for some events. Please participate as you are able.

  • Members are encouraged to provide feedback and suggestions.

If I am unable to pay dues, can I still participate in PTO activities?

  • Yes. Dues payment is not required to volunteer, attend meetings or participate in any PTO event. Dues payment is required to run for office, vote for officers and gain access to the membership directory.

How can I pay?

  • Send a check, payable to Lancer PTO to:

Kristin Krauss, Treasurer, Lancer PTO

15 Armstrong Drive

Cinnaminson, NJ  08077

  • Provide a cash payment to a member of the executive board.

  • Use this link (includes $0.85 processing fee)

Is my payment tax-deductible?

  • The Lancer PTO is incorporated as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. You will receive a receipt with our Tax ID.

I have already donated money to the PTO for other projects.

Can some or all of this be used towards my membership?

  • Absolutely! Please email the PTO Treasurer, Kristin Krauss, or call her at (215) 680-4573, and your donation will be re-designated. General membership funds may be allocated for any project, including beautification.
