High School Placement Test
Our Holy Cross Prep High School Placement Test (HSPT) is a required component of our admissions process for all incoming freshmen. At Holy Cross Preparatory Academy, we use the HSPT for several key purposes:

-
Entrance Evaluation: The HSPT helps us assess each student’s readiness for the academic challenges at Holy Cross Prep.

-
Academic Scholarships: Exceptional performance on the HSPT, combined with strong academic transcripts and teacher recommendations, may qualify students for academic scholarships.

-
Course Placement: The results of the HSPT guide course selection, ensuring students are placed in classes that align with their abilities.

-
Remediation: For students who may need additional support, the HSPT helps identify areas where remediation might be beneficial.
FAQs:
The individual results of the HSPT will be referenced by our Holy Cross Prep School Counseling Office during the course selection process. The final score sheets help to ensure students are placed in classes that align with their academic abilities.
