Event Details:
The Holy Cross Lancer Distinguished Alumni event recognizes and celebrates graduates and community stakeholders who exemplify the very best of our mission through outstanding professional or personal achievements and meaningful service to others. This special event brings Lancers past and present together in recognition of those whose lives reflect courage, leadership, faith, and excellence. All are invited to attend, support the celebration through sponsorship, or nominate deserving individuals whose impact continues to strengthen the legacy of Holy Cross Preparatory Academy.

Categories of Distinction:
1.) Science and Medicine - Such as pioneering medical research or contributions to scientific knowledge.
2.) Arts and Entertainment - Including accomplishments in theater, music, film, and other creative fields.
3.) Academia - Including teachers, published authors of academic publications, etc.
4.) Business and Entrepreneurship - Recognizing leadership and innovation in the business world.
5.) Philanthropy - Recognizing significant contributions in the areas of public service, education, or community advocacy.
6.) Military and Civic Leadership - Acknowledging distinguished service and leadership in military or civic roles.
7.) Other fields not mentioned - Send us a note to advancement@hcprep.org if you have an alum that you don't think "fits" one of these categories.
Candidate Criteria:

Should be ten (10) years removed from Holy Cross via graduation or retirement.

Under special circumstances, the Committee may waive the graduation/retirement requirement by 2/3 vote.

Must have demonstrated outstanding excellence and/or achieved special recognition in their field.

Expected to have made meaningful impact through significant contributions in their area of expertise.
Non-Alumni and alumni individuals who have made tremendous impact within our school community, and have made significant contributions to the fiscal strength of our institution may be nominated for our Cartier Medal.
